The first day of the academic year commenced smoothly and successfully.
All school transport vehicles reached the campus on time, with all vans arriving by 9:10 a.m. The students were received and escorted by the Kindergarten teachers as per the instructions given earlier.
Following the arrival of all the vans, the morning assembly commenced and was conducted smoothly. After the assembly, students were escorted to their respective classrooms, where they were warmly received by their class teachers. The students were seated appropriately, and the class teachers provided essential instructions regarding classwork, homework, school routines, and expectations for the academic year. Worksheets distributed during the vacation were also collected.
The academic sessions progressed smoothly throughout the day.
After lunch, Grades II to V had a smooth transition to their scheduled activities. Grade II students attended their Physical Education session and later returned to their classrooms, where the class teachers collected the worksheets. Students of Grades III, IV, and V participated in the Extracurricular Activities Orientation Programme, which was informative, engaging, and motivating.
For the middle school section, Grade VIII students attended their orientation programme in the forenoon session at 11:30 a.m., while Grade VII students attended their orientation programme during the afternoon session. Both sessions were conducted successfully and received a positive response from the students.
By 2:30 p.m., Grade 2, followed by Grade 3 students were assembled, segregated according to their transport arrangements, and guided to board their respective vans. The school transport departed the campus at 4:20 p.m. without any difficulty.
Observations and Areas for Improvement
Grade II teachers reported that some students appeared slightly tired and exhausted, as they were adjusting to the change in school timings from Grade I to Grade II.
It was suggested that, during the initial days, the Class Teacher period may be scheduled in the forenoon session so that students can become familiar with their class teacher and classmates more comfortably.
Grade 4 : The teachers need to be aligned earlier, change of Teachers was botheration.
