The United Public School proudly conducted its 9th Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 on 20th June 2026 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council and celebrated the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and service.
The event was graced by Mrs. Bhuvaneswari as the Chief Guest. The ceremony commenced with Surya Namaskar, performed to commemorate the 12th International Yoga Day, emphasizing the importance of health, discipline, and holistic well-being.
As a mark of respect and gratitude, the Chief Guest offered floral homage to the statues of the revered leaders on the school campus. This was followed by the National Flag Hoisting Ceremony, instilling a sense of patriotism and national pride among the gathering.
One of the highlights of the event was the impressive March Past by the students of Grades VI, VII, IX, and XI, who showcased remarkable discipline, coordination, and confidence.
The newly elected members of the Student Council were then formally invested with their responsibilities through the pinning of badges, followed by the solemn Oath-Taking Ceremony, where they pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the school.
The audience was inspired by the addresses delivered by the Head Boy and Head Girl, who expressed their commitment to serving the student community with sincerity and dedication.
The cultural segment of the programme added vibrancy to the occasion. Students of Grade III presented an energetic Hula Hoop Drill, while Grade IV students enthralled the audience with a rhythmic Thumbells performance.
The Lezim Drill by the girls of Grade VII reflected grace and synchronization, and the Wand Display by the boys of Grade VII added grandeur and ceremonial spirit to the event.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Ranjana, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, the management, staff, students, and parents for their support in making the ceremony a memorable success.
The 9th Investiture Ceremony served as a significant milestone, inspiring young leaders to lead with integrity, responsibility, and excellence while upholding the values of The United Public School.
